Provides sustainable development platform with complete ESG
The term ESG has become a global phenomenon in recent years, making the issue of sustainable development continue to fever. However, many people said that the concept of ESG is always vague and has an elusive feeling. The reason is not only that ESG has a wide range, but also that the word ESG represents three different views and one approach.
The earliest concept of ESG comes from the sustainable development approach. The core concept of this approach is that the United Nations World Commission on Environment and Development put forward in the report "Our Common Future" in 1987: "A development model that can meet our current needs without harming future generations, and meet their needs." This defines sustainable development, and puts forward three elements of economy, environment, and society to help the global international community focus on the sustainable development of mankind.

The first view of ESG is the view of enterprise management. In 1997, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) released the disclosure framework of sustainable development reports, and officially launched the GRI sustainable reporting guidelines in 2016. The four dimensions of E (economy) E (environment) S (society) G (governance) in the guidelines include the concept of ESG, which is to meet the implementation of corporate social responsibility work from the perspective of corporate governance, Examine and solve the impact and solutions to the major sustainable development problems of the organization.

The second perspective of ESG is finance, which comes from the socially invested financial sector, including S&P DJI, MSCI, FTSE Russell, and the banks involved in green finance. The ESG concept was first introduced in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) in 2004 to help companies promote socially responsible action, providing a focused approach.
The "ESG Sustainable Development Industry-Academia-Research Collaboration Platform" is constructed by combining the above three perspectives of enterprise management, financial investment and public affairs through the sustainable development approach. It provides four aspects of services, including the first, second and third departments' comprehensive research and development of teaching materials, advisory assistance, verification and audit work, and testing statement services.
